Super PRP Therapy

Super PRP

Last updated: 10 July 2026

Super PRP is a treatment that injects a highly concentrated platelet-rich plasma (PRP) prepared from your own blood, with the aim of encouraging tissue repair through the growth factors that platelets contain. Because the material comes from your own blood, allergic reactions are expected to be unlikely. We treat the face, neck, knees and elbows.

About

About this treatment

What PRP is

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a preparation in which the platelets in your blood are concentrated to a high density. Platelets carry a range of growth factors involved in tissue repair, and PRP is the subject of ongoing research and clinical use in orthopaedics and dermatology.

What makes it "Super"

We use PRP in which the platelets are concentrated more densely than usual. Because nothing but your own blood goes into it, patients often choose it when they are uneasy about introducing foreign material into the body.

Flow

What happens, step by step

  1. Consultation and examination

The doctor examines you, explains the treatment, the cost and the safety data in full, and then decides whether it is suitable.

  2. Blood draw

About the same amount of blood as a routine blood test.

  3. Preparing the PRP

The blood is spun in a dedicated centrifuge to separate out a highly concentrated PRP.

  4. Injection

The PRP is injected into the treatment area — face, neck, knee or elbow.

  5. Follow-up

We check the area afterwards and follow your progress as needed.

Certification

Registration and hospital partnerships

Under Japan's Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine, our Class 2 protocols are reviewed by a Certified Special Committee for Regenerative Medicine and our Class 3 protocols by a Certified Committee for Regenerative Medicine. The resulting treatment plans are filed with the Kanto-Shinetsu Regional Bureau of Health and Welfare. We also work in partnership with Keio University Hospital and Tokyo Saiseikai Central Hospital, covering pre- and post-treatment testing and, should it ever be needed, transfer of care.

How we manage safety
